Morning mist on the river |
After having spent Monday with a pounding migraine due to the changes of atmospheric pressures (high, low back to high), I followed my inner whisper and opted for a walk in the park, the best remedy.
Autumn, my favourite season of all, is bringing so much into nature, all around me. Colder mornings, chillier evenings, the colour change of the tree leaves are all signs that nature is transforming everywhere. So, I took my camera with me and went for a couple of hours stroll around my neighbourhood, happy to be feeling better and just witnessing the beauty that surrounded me.
Where are all the fish this year? I wonder… |
This beautiful Grey Heron was quietly standing on the logs and did not even flinched when I took a photograph, it was just happy to be admired, I was not really sure I could capture his image in the water but here they both are, him and his reflection.
Have a look at what I saw a few kilometers later

Spider |
Continuing along the river, lead me to Colony Farm, where I took these spider webs photographs, thinking back about it, I wish I could have leaned down on the dewy grass, and been able to take them at eye level, but I was not ready to dirty myself too much…(next outing in nature with camera calls for grungy pants)
Along the path I was on, I kept wanting to try and document the beauty surrounding me…I believe my elusive photographic eye is starting to finally open itself. Walking around was definitely what I needed to feel better, not only did it clear my head but it also allowed me to clear my heart and got me in a better frame of mind.
Just for you π |
Tell me, how do you clear your mind?
Norma, I feel the same spider webs and spiders for that matter, are best outside where they belong π

Love spider webs outside! Not so much inside.
