Carpe Diem…Seize the day

Each day comes bearing its own gifts.  Untie the ribbons.
Ruth Ann Schabacker
To seize the day, all you will need is:
Your family of four ready and eager to all bike together
A beautiful, sunny and cool Sunday in November
An unexpected time off from your dear and sweet partner
Everyone awaiting to go on this new adventure
To seize the day you will need:

To be able to take the time, to stop and see
This beautiful leaf in the shape of a heart, on this green pine tree
To smell the Autumn forest scents and hear the running river
Singing its song to you, as you all come much closer
That’s what you will need to seize the day

At the end of this day you seized you will be,

Tired yet grateful to have been all together
On this beautiful bike ride, which gave you so much pleasure
Amazed at the all beauty, your eyes got to see
And thankful for this moment, you for one, did not foresee…

How about you, tell me…
did you seize the day?
