November winds…Creative passion

Our passions are the winds that propel our vessel.
Our reason is the pilot that steers her.
Without winds the vessel would not move
and without a pilot she would be lost.
Proverbs

The strong November wind took almost all the leaves away and only the most tenacious ones are left, barely hanging on.  The air is crisp, the sky is showing all sorts of shades of grays, ones I did not even know existed! This blowing wind makes me shiver and my ears get cold, I know I should dress warmer but I am not an onion, layers is not the look for me, tomorrow, maybe…

Around this time of year, I have often wanted to be a bear and hibernate from now until mid March, only emerging from my deep slumber to feel the feast of the senses, that is Spring.  This year, however I am feeling curious and ready to tackle the shorter days, even looking forwards to the longer nights.  I find myself still smiling regardless of the weather, wondering if my creative side combined with the fact I feel so much passion for those new elements in my life, writing, taking photographs, and blogging has anything to do with this change in my heart?

The more I walk on this creative journey, the more I feel my life is a puzzle being assembled one tiny piece at a time.  Being patient and taking time to look at the bigger picture is, in the end, what will allow me to be satisfied with the final result.  Happiness is mine while I am putting it all together…

Does it make sense?
