Making time?

Many thoughts crossed my mind while reading today’s #Reverb10’s prompt, so many ways to look at it…

Make. What was the last thing you made? What materials did you use? Is there something you want to make, but you need to clear some time for it? (Author: Gretchen Rubin)

If I am to take it literally, the last thing I made was supper and a very tasty one at that ๐Ÿ˜‰
Joking aside, this year I made TIME.  I know, what you are going to say…”Anyes, You can not make time”, wait a minute just hear me out…
  • I made time to start blogging and work on it every single day… (exceptions of two breaks)
  • I made time to take photographs, which in turn gave me a very detailed and precise rendition of so many beautiful moments in this past year, moments that I might have easily forgotten…

  • I made time to connect in a deeper way, with virtual strangers to whom I became so very close, simply because we are so like-minded, kindness uniting us ๐Ÿ™‚
  • I made time to become more aware of me and who I was deep inside, this in turn allowing me to be more aware of my loved ones …Darling Daughter even agrees ๐Ÿ˜‰
  • I made time to go back to my love of card making, and surprised myself in the process, having forgotten how much I loved it…
  • Finally I made time to write and write and write some more which might be what I was supposed to do long time ago (still trying to find this one out)
Told you…it’s possible to make time ๐Ÿ˜‰

โ€œIn truth, people can generally make time for what they choose to do;

it is not really the time but the will that is lackingโ€

John Lubbock (1834-1913)

  1. Tracy, Welcome back home It's such a pleasure to read you here ;-)Get lots of rest, overseas travels are always so tiring. I hope you feel better soon.:-)Karen, Picnik makes it so easy and those photographs were ones I had not done anything with, but that I still loved. Have fun, I really curious to see what will be on your collage…Karen, Cool two friends with the same first name ;-)Thank you for the butterflies analogy, even tough right now I mostly feel like a caterpillar really trying to get my hands, eyes and heart on anything that calls my artistic side. Wishing us both tons of fun…

  3. Hi, Anyes! This post on time and taking some back for oneself is a theme much on my mind as I try to find some balance in the holiday rush. I'm slowing getting to visiting and such though, as I've not been feeling too well in recent days since returning from our travels–but getting there. Great to be catching up with you and back in blogland. :o) Happy Days, my friend ((HUGS))
