The colours of my world

Everything is blooming most recklessly; if it were voices instead of colors, there would be an unbelievable shrieking into the heart of the night.
Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters of Rainer Maria Rilke

…Greens of the young velvety leaves…

…Pinks and Greens of those blossoming branches…

…Golden light of the sun going down, by the side of the beach…

…Crisp white snow covered mountains tops, just before the blue hour

Having my camera handy, for a long family walk
makes every one tease me, yet also helps
my heart see all the colours and
the beauty surrounding me…

Happy Friday to you,
enjoy the colours
of your world πŸ™‚

  1. Karen, Wow it's going to be really warm over where you are, we're going to have rain for part of the week-end so it's going to be card making time for me. Enjoy your week-end πŸ™‚

  2. Most excellent photos…especially the blue hour. You've gone and captured it beautifully. I like the colors of your world. And I hope to start seeing more green here too. So far very little is happening. But I do see lots of buds. woohoo! this makes me happy. This weekend it's going to be 80 degrees on Sunday with lots of humidity…unfortunately this just pops the flowers up with little leaf base and it all ends much to quickly….weird weather.Have a wonderful weekend.

  4. all these pictures are so beautiful and make me somewhat envious of your changing of the seasons. we're in the rainy season here, so we get intense cloud build-ups and lots of rain. lovely, but we don't really get a spring here or an autumn – i think that's what i miss!
