Some days…

“Time is swift, it races by; Opportunities are born and die…
Still you wait and will not try –
A bird with wings who dares not rise and fly.”
A. A. Milne quotes (English Humorist, creator of Winnie-the-Pooh, 1882-1956)

…Some days I feel I loose my artist wings…
…The energy within being weighted down by every day life…
…It is just a matter of plugging along until the sun comes back in our skies…

…Do you ever feel this way?…

  1. What a beautiful image and metaphor for taking flight…I have such respect for your willingness to be so open and honest with your readers Anyes…You are beautiful!!

  2. What a fantastic shot! This kind of beauty is only captured by one whose heart is open to it, so no matter how the current day feels, there is clearly light and life and growth ahead and for a long time yet to come.

  3. You are not alone, Anyes… I think we all have days like that, and I know I do too. Sometimes it's just a matter of being more aware of where the time goes and what we're using our time on, etc. It's not always easy to carve out more space in a busy life, as that usually means sacrificing something… but sometimes such sacrifices are worth it for the growing of our creative self. At the moment I'm taking a mini blog break and loving it… my creative spirit needed it. ;o) Savor the days, whatever they bring, my friend ((HUGS))

  4. Lovely shot. Yes, I think we all feel this. I like to think that we need those grey days to help us appreciate the sunny ones all the more.

  5. Sometimes, when the days are grey and the sun is a distant memory I feel down, but then I remember that beautiful cold crisp days are not far away. I need to remind myself that bad days are always balanced out by days of beauty and inspiration. Take care of yourself, Anyes… xoxo
