He just knew it…

In the spring I have counted one hundred and thirty-six different
kinds of weather inside of four and twenty hours.
 Mark Twain

There was no fooling him, he could feel it in his feathers,
the weather was about to change. This late in March and snow is still coming?
What about global warming, he thought.

The old dried up berries were still bare, slowly moving in the wind but it was coming…
There was an icy feel in the air that did not fool anyone.

It all started very slowly and before you knew the white fluffs where almost everywhere.
Falling non-stop for almost two hours blanketing the old wheelbarrow of white.

Gathering on the old rose tree branches in tight knit groups, it made sure to cover
every last bit of green that was to be found. Who said Spring was coming?

Yet, just as it had started, it all melted away. Leaving beads of wet snow hanging on the branches. It was all just for fun you see, to know if I had been paying attention…

Now I ask you  Mr. Winter, could we please have a warm sunny week
for this coming Spring Break?

Pretty please πŸ™‚
