Much better…thank you for asking

“Wabi sabi is the beauty of things imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete,
the antithesis of our classical Western notion of beauty as something perfect, enduring, and monumental.”
Leonard Koren

Well anchored

My last post prompted Kozo to invite me to participate a challenge Rarasaur is having on her side of the blogging sphere. So I thought I would join the fun and ease myself back into blogging and daily posting.

So here is my version of Wabi Sabi beauty. I guess this photograph would also have worked perfectly. I had heard of this philosophy before yet this time it stirs my insides in a very peculiar way. So I am going to start reading up on it and try to see how to incorporate it in my daily life

Feel free to join and to link back to Prompts for the Promptless to see every one else 🙂

**A big Thank You for all your concerns and your kind wishes. I am getting much better and even if the energy is not exactly the same as before it still is a vast improvement compared to how I felt even a week ago. Being the eternal optimist I always try to look at the bright side of things…and I found it.  I am now sleeping like a baby for the last 12 days.  I hope it is not the antibiotic wearing me down. I guess I’ll know soon, two more days of those vile tasting huge pills to take and then I” see what happens. Big hug to all of you sweet friends, for coming here even if there was nothing new to read**

  1. I have always found beauty in the small and the transient rather than the monumental. And perfection is a myth. Or I hope it is, because I know I will never, aspire as I might, achieve it.
Wonderful post. So glad you are well on the way to health and vitality once more.

  2. Glad you got some rest, Anyes. Maybe your body needed 12 days of sleeping like a baby. I guess you could say that you lived wabi-sabi! haha.
Great photo. I love where the rope rubbed off the paint and rust. Lot of movement in this static photo. Miss you. {{{Hugs}}} Kozo

I’m so happy over that you have found your sleeping pattern again and my heart hope that it will stay with you – my doctor once said that it’s not the antibiotics that make us tired – it’s the infection, somehow I believe in him – it makes sense.

  5. So glad you are on the mend and coming back into the sunshine 😀 Much love and hugs to you, and thank you for this delightful post! xo Gina

  6. We’re all “wabi sabi” like that — coming here even if you weren’t posting, just to check in — we don’t look for perfection or for you to be here, but we kind of like coming to find out! 😉 Glad that you are feeling better and mending…one day at a time! And I like the photo you chose for not perfect…that fraying on the rope is so very much like life!! xoxo

Talk to me, I am listening :-)
