Ready, Set, Go

Here we are! It is finally happening.

Setting off in the wee hours of the morning we are on our way to a new adventure. Packing has been done, to-do list have been completed; speaking of to-do lists have you heard of Astrid; It is a neat little app that is getting me doing all the things I need to do, when I need to do them and may I tell you that I love it 🙂

Back to the subject at hand, today’s travel will let us cross one border and one state line as we are inching our way closer to the south of California. The plan is to be able to see the Oregon Coast on the 101 and to get a feel of how beautiful it is. Just writing this, my heart is having a bit of palpitations as my excitement grows near. I hope I will be able to capture the magic of this magnificent coast 🙂

I have my two cameras, my lenses and I also have my traveling journal which will help me keep track of our moves. With the heat wave going on right now, driving should be a bit on the challenging side and we are up for it.
