Transformation it is…

Personal transformation can and does have global effects.
As we go, so goes the world, for the world is us.
The revolution that will save the world is ultimately a personal one.
Marianne Williamson

Crow on the branch

“The crow is a spirit animal associated with life mysteries and magic. The power of this bird as totem and spirit guide is provide insight and means of supporting intentions. Sign of luck, it is also associated with the archetype of the trickster; be aware of deceiving appearances. If the crow has chosen you as your spirit or totem animal, it supports you in developing the power of sight, transformation, and connection with life’s magic.”

Being in tune with the messages I am receiving, listening to all the cues coming my way and after much consideration, it seem I have just found my word for next  year.  For a while inspire was a good contender and so was connected, especially after having watched this movie.

Yet seeing crows everywhere I turn, all the time and feeling such a close connection to them, I trust that transformation is the perfect choice.

Have you already found your word for this coming year or are you still searching?

  1. Anyes, I think we will be searching during your whole life … for reasons, answers and questions – I think if we stop searching our souls isn’t in a very good shape. Just beautiful this post .. and the photo magic. Wish you a pleasant weekend.

  2. Anyes, I loved this post at Vision and Verb and gleaned from it even more reading it here the second time. Your image of the crow is mystical and perfect. My word for the year? I’m pretty sure it has spoken to me but I’m actually spending some deliberate time this afternoon pondering it. I know “twirl,” my word for this closing year has been surprisingly powerful in many turns (no pun intended).

  3. I like your choice. Given all that you have been through in the last year…change has occurred…it was inevitable. And what has happened IS a transformation — which is still ongoing. I’m glad that you took notice of the crows and that you listened and discovered something much deeper within your own soul! xo

      1. Years ago I knew a woman who would always say, at times of turmoil or times of joy or seeming coincidence – “the world will unfold as it should” — and it does. You are truly in touch and in tune with your soul and what is going on around you — from listening — to transformation. That’s a gift Anyes!
