I am trying to remind myself of being present every time I cook. The series of little tasks required to prepare a home made meal are the ones that seem easier for me to get really focused on, Carola…
As an talented bread maker, I have a feeling you understand where I am coming from 🙂
In my opinion, as well as enjoying all the little details it helps to also focus on the whole picture without attention to all the little things that make up the whole.
I think it is true – and it sounds so simple, doesn’t it? Being present – how often are we not? Distracted, pre-occupied, worried, tired….

I have to say I’m often forgetting the big picture…I tend to focus on the details somehow…You bring up a good point though 🙂

I think William Morris is a very wise man. In a very ordinary way he is talking about deep presence.
