A nine years old tradition

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.

John F. Kennedy

The very first year I blogged, I came across a challenge that drove me to reflect back on the year that had just passed. It also called for me to chose a word for the upcoming year and to try my best to live by that particular word. Making it something to focus on when you’re lost.
From that time on, I chose a word for the year and was surprised of the insights I got to uncover about myself.

Discovery was the word that started 2011, Transformation  was 2013’s choice. In the interest to saving you time I’m fast forwarding to 2016 in which interestingly enough I chose Truth. this year also happened to be the year of my heart attack. Turns out truth is a powerful word don’t you think, dear friend?

2017 and 2018 were difficult years. Suffice to let you know I chose words each time but omitted to blog about them…

Which brings me smack back here… Drum roll…My word for 2019 is:

To soar:

soar/sôr/verbverb: soar; 3rd person present: soars; past tense: soared; past participle: soared; gerund or present participle: soaring

  1. fly or rise high in the air.”the bird spread its wings and soared into the air”

Now it’s your turn dear friend…What’s your 2019 word? If you have one, do you care to share it here with me?

In any case, I am sending you love and light energy to brighten your world.

PS none of your links work – they take me to a WP place I’ve never seen before where I’m invited to write a story.
